RULES & REGULATIONS

Rules

One Kart can be removed after the first Qualifying session (Q1) and one more Kart can be removed after the second Qualifying session (Q2). This will help ensure that the drivers are comfortable knowing the “best” Karts make it to the Main Event.

Qualifying sessions will be 10 laps each, depending on number of participants, there may be multiple Q1 and Q2 sessions. Every racer will have a “Main Event” race, but only the top 6-10 will earn points. This may require multiple Main Event races, however, those that are not in the top 6-10 fastest times will not earn points for that week and their race will be for fun, bragging rights, practice for the following week, or an opportunity to set the fastest lap for one (1) point!

The Main Event will consist of one (1) formation lap to warm up the tires, then a 11 lap rolling start race for the top 6-10, and a 10 lap race for those not fighting for points. There will be NO restarts in any Main Event.

There will be NO swapping of Karts in the Main Event unless there is a Severe mechanical issue.

Results of Main Event will be final on the day of Race!

Wrecks, Crashes, Bumping

If you are caught excessively bumping other Karts, you will receive one Black Flag warning. After the warning, and caught again, you will automatically be placed last of the event and potentially lose any/all points. We have a zero tolerance policy for running into other Karts. We know in racing there will be slight rubbing and bumping, be SMART and use your brakes, and set the driver up in front of you for a smooth SAFE pass instead. Remember there are eight (8) weeks to earn points.

If a wreck or spin out occurs, all Karts will be slowed down or stopped for staff and other driver safety. The Owners will determine if the wreck/spinout was self inflicted or if another driver caused the accident. If another driver was found to cause the accident, the position of the wrecked driver will be given back to them, and the driver causing the accident will be placed behind them and a warning given.
